StatSheet's America East Player of the Week for January 14th goes to Albany's Sam Rowley. Jameel Warney has been recognized as StatSheet America East Freshman of the Week. And last but certainly not least, Marcus Rouse has received StatSheet's America East 6th Man of the Week.

Rowley was tops in the America East in rebounding (13.0 per game). He also had respectable numbers with 15.5 points per game and 70% shooting. The Albany sophomore played well for the Great Danes in wins against Binghamton and Maine.

Rowley topped all scoring and rebounding for the Great Danes with 21 points and 13 rebounds in a 71-59 win over Binghamton. He followed that up with 10 points and 13 rebounds in a 76-63 win against Maine.

This is the first StatSheet America East Player of the Week award for Sam Rowley. The runner-up this week is Vermont junior Clancy Rugg. Honorable mention goes to Dom Morris, a junior from Boston University. The highest ranking player from Stony Brook was Tommy Brenton who finished fourth.
